    1. I must say, job very well done on the first edition of LivingEars. I heard some tasty little jams by bands I had never heard of before. I will be researching them more, thanks to your podcast. Keep up the excellent work.

I jotted down a few notes on my legal pad here at work as I was listening. they’re a little brief and random, so take it as you please:

*Port O’Brien joint was awesome. I think it will be on a summer jam playlist shortly in my iTuneskis.

*Beck song bored me to death. Sorry… I never have been a huge fan… maybe I just don’t get him.

*The commentary is great. Brief, informative, and good annunciation. Complimented the music well.

*I share the same opinion on the Atari’s cover of Don Henley’s classic 80′s joint. Love the remake, but not necessarily the Ataris so much. Its a perfect cover, if you ask me.

*Hold Steady song… I skipped it. Sorry.

*MGMT… uh… wow. By far my favorite two songs on the podcast. Excellent selection. I will also be adding this to a summer playlist.

*Kid Cudi joints were fresh. The producing was top notch and Crookers really did a number on them. Really good stuff.

    2. Ohhhh snap. The hold steady album is one of my favorites this year. I really like it. That song is one of my faves. Different strokes.
